I'll be back soon...
... wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to say those four words to your dog? With my help, you can.

Separation Anxiety is very often misunderstood but, with my help, you can claim back your freedom and have a dog who can tolerate and even enjoy being on their own.

There are no quick fixes and every dog experiences anxiety in their own way which is why they need an individualised training program to help them overcome their panic.

The objective of my training program is to address your dog's separation anxiety from the root of the issue.

How do the training programs work?

I first ask that you make a contract with your dog that, from now on, you will not leave them alone for any longer than they can handle. For most dogs, this is never. I understand that time and money are very important factors to consider before entering into this contract however, it is necessary. By never leaving your dog to experience anxiety, fear, or panic again, we can begin the healing process and restore your dog's confidence that you will return to them.

Once you have taken this very important first step, we can begin the process of systematic desensitization; gradually exposing your dog to being left alone.

Please note: all dogs must be seen for a behaviour consultation before deciding on a programme. See here for more details on the consultation process

4-week Do-It-Yourself Programme

Investment £150

During the behaviour consultation, I will explain the process of slowly desensitising your dog to your departures, and I will guide you step by step through creating and executing a successful separation anxiety training plan for your dog. We will chat either by phone or WhatsApp once a week to check your progress and for any troubleshooting.

Monthly Remote 1:1 Training

Investment £400

Separation anxiety training is a gradual process and because it is a complex behaviour, I work extremely closely with my clients, 5 days a week. to create individualised daily exercises, called missions, and provide considerable feedback regularly.

I require a minimum 4-week commitment as this is the very least amount of time that I feel will allow us to build a strong foundation for behaviour change to take place and also start to teach you how the separation anxiety protocol works.

What's included:

  • Daily mission creation (5 days a week) - take the guesswork out of your training plan! I create very individualised training exercises each day based on what you and your dog needs. This is not a standardised training plan but rather a day-by-day training plan written specifically for you.

  • Daily cheerleading, support and feedback (5 days a week) - dealing with separation anxiety can be a very lonely experience. I can be your support and your motivation to keep going. I have helped many separation anxiety clients and I understand your needs.

  • Weekly live online assessments with you and your dog - not only will we be in touch with our shared notes daily, one day a week we will meet together live to assess your dog and to chat more in-depth about any questions or concerns that may be cropping up.

  • Proprietary system of progress and data tracking - we know that dogs are sentient beings and as such sometimes progresses is not linear. I take great care to watch the trajectory of the dog's progress and go through the data with a fine tooth comb to make sure we can tease out any nuances along the way.
